We aim to provide our guests with all the tools necessary to immerse themselves in their favourite past-time. A relaxing environment, welcoming hosts, great local food
and a spacious villa are just the start. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that all the background details are taken care of, leaving you to concentrate on relaxing and
cycling and painting.
The cycling opportunities around the villa are wonderful and varied. The limsetone terrain lends itself extremely well to beginner and advanced cyclist alike. The topography in the area
is such that we have a gentle flat valley out to the West for easy riding, and plenty of hills in most other directions of the compass. Sleepy medieval villages with cafés and restaurants
await the weary cyclist, whilst the bigger challenges of the mountains remain extremely accessible. We have compiled a library of over 2000kms of rides, each individually graded for difficulty, and each showing a
ride profile. We put enormous effort into ensuring that each day we can find right route for your riding appetite. Once back at the villa you'll find plenty of quiet corners of the
garden to relax in, as you wait for aperitifs to be served.
The area has been incredibly popular with painters for a long time. The quality of the light and the beautiful scenery are just two of the reasons. Spend a little time
wandering around the charming unspoilt villages of the area, meet some friendly locals, taste some wine, and you'll soon discover a whole range of other reasons to come here
for a painting holiday.
