Lessons with local michelin-rated chef

visit to local farmers' market...

A sample itinerary has been set out below, but this can be discussed and tailored to suit individual parties, if required:

Day 1
Arrival and welcome aperitifs by the pool and then dinner and a glass of wine.

Day 2
Morning lesson with Thibaut, the local michelin-starred chef who owns a fabulous restaurant in the village. The lesson takes place at his restaurant and is very much a participation lesson, rather than just observing. After helping to prepare the meal, you will then sit down and eat with a glass of wine, alongside Thibaut.

Day 3
Wine-tasting - a trip to Chateauneuf du Pape and surrounding vignerons to discover more about their wonderful wines, and of course for that all important degustation. You will be accompanied by a wine connoisseur.

Day 4
Visit to Uzès market. Every Wednesday morning in the unspoilt medieval town of Uzès, there is a local producers' market in the central Place des Herbes. Here you will be able to experience the true delights of provencal cuisine - olives, tapenade, cheeses, herbs and much more.

In the afternoon a local French mother/housewife will visit the villa, in order to share with you a few of those all important tips that make the meals so sumptuous. She will make a typical provencal meal with you ready for you to eat that evening.

Day 5
Day off to expore the local area. There is so much to discover, but suggested options would be perhaps to visit the spectacular Pont du Gard, the amphitheatre at Orange, or the arena at Arles.

Day 6
Second morning lesson with local chef at his restaurant, includes lunch.

Day 7
Visit to St Quentin la Poterie market with a local. Each Friday morning, St Quentin has its own market. This is your chance to stock up on all the culinary delights of the area, in order to prolong the unforgettable provencal experience when back in your own home.
