Cuisine & wine-tasting holidays   learn from the locals... Renowned for its fabulous food and wonderful wine, what better way to soak up the provencal way of life for four days or a week. The holiday is based at a luxury villa with private swimming pool, so there are no excuses for the partner not wanting to come along too! There is a wealth of activity in the local area to keep all amused on days/half days off , brocantes and markets, a total of fifteen potters to visit in St Quentin itself, plus a great deal more in the spectacular, historical town of Uzès. You will be collected from the airport or train station and brought back to the villa which will be your home for the week. The holiday will consist of 2 lessons with the local michelin-rated chef, 2 wine degustations, a visit to the local farmers' market with a local mother/housewife, plus a visit to an olive oil factory. Each day will begin with breakfast at the villa and a discussion of the arrangements for the day. For 2 days, a light lunch will be prepared for you (the other days you will be cooking your own lunch!). For 5 nights of your stay, dinner will be prepared for you, the other 2 nights you can either choose to stay in and practice the skills you have learnt, or eat in one of the many local restaurants.
